2006. Best restaurant of the world. La revista The Restaurant Magazine elabora cada año una lista de los cincuenta mejores restaurantes del mundo, según el parecer de sus redactores y críticos. En 2002 elBulli ya había sido distinguido con el galardón al mejor restaurante. Pero este año 2006 se producía una circunstancia diferencial. Por primera vez, la lista la realizaban más de 500 críticos, cocineros y gourmets de todo el mundo, y se le daba una trascendencia mucho mayor que en las ediciones anteriores. Este selecto y nutrido jurado decidió, pues, que el título al mejor restaurante debía recaer en elBulli. The World's 50 Best Restaurants. 2006.
